Mazda “Tasting Wild: Glacier” (Episode 2)
Role: Concept Development & Post-Production
Concept & Storytelling:
Tasting Wild is Mazda’s branded content series, produced with National Geographic CreativeWorks, blending outdoor adventure, culinary exploration, and the spirit of discovery. In the Glacier episode, Michelin-starred chef Melissa King journeys with National Geographic photographer Kiliii Yuyan to glacier lakes, building traditional wooden kayaks and creating a meal inspired by the pristine, rugged landscape — embodying Mazda’s ethos of “We’re more human in nature.”
Execution:
• Shaped the episode’s concept to align culinary storytelling with Mazda’s CX-50 positioning as a vehicle for exploration
• Led post-production, including editing, color grading, and final delivery across digital and streaming platforms
• Partnered with NatGeo CreativeWorks teams to integrate authentic storytelling with subtle yet impactful brand presence
Results:
• Premiered as part of Mazda’s Tasting Wild series on Hulu and Mazda’s content hub
• Elevated brand affinity by merging outdoor adventure, cultural craft, and human connection through food
REEF “Resilience” (Pilot Episode)

Concept & Storytelling:
The Resilience film marked the launch of REEF’s branded storytelling series, spotlighting the brand’s commitment to sustainability, adventure, and lifestyle. The episode explored the balance between environmental stewardship and the surf community’s spirit of exploration, featuring Dr. Cliff Kapono, a surfer-scientist from Hilo Bay, capturing how resilience in nature mirrors resilience in people
Execution:
• Directed full-cycle production, from concept development through post-production
• Partnered with creative, strategy, and sustainability leads to ensure alignment with REEF’s brand ethos and environmental mission
• Oversaw budget, vendor management, and on-site direction to deliver cinematic storytelling with elevated production quality
Results:
• Delivered a pilot episode that set the creative tone for the brand’s series storytelling
• Strengthened REEF’s positioning around eco-conscious adventure and lifestyle
• Supported brand engagement by combining aspirational visuals with authentic sustainability narratives
